Episode 59: Tabletop games

Clay Larsen joins Jen to talk about the explosion of amazing board, card, and storytelling games that have fallen under the umbrella of “tabletop games” in recent years. In the interest of trying out each of these categories plus a mix of competitive versus cooperative games, they played the Game of Thrones board game, Gloom, Grit, Pandemic, Zombies!!!, Ticket to Ride, Dominion, and Fiasco. It took a total of 17 hours but they now recommend seven of the eight games they played, though they might not recommend trying to play them all on the same day.
